The Dark One's Dark Plan
ABC
BECAUSE: Emma's long-term plan: Wait for Zelena to have her baby, transfer the Darkness to her, and then kill the witch. And her short-term plan? She tethered Hook to Excalibur to save his life in Camelot, thereby turning him into yet another Dark One. So, maybe let's workshop those and get back to them, because as it stands, much like the Grinch's heart, Storybrooke's little Dark One problem just grew three times in size.

Homeland
HBO
WHAT HAPPENED: Sunday's episode of Homeland was all about Carrie and Allison ("and Carrie versus Allison, except Carrie doesn't know yet," according to EW recapper Shirley Li). The women have a few things in common, namely, Saul, but also that they're both leading double lives, both unable to let go of the agonizing thrills of secrets and spies. One of those secrets is the one Saul spills to Allison about: Carrie is alive and he has some rather important documents in tow to give to her. Reading the documents sends Carrie on a wild Netherlands goose chase that ultimately brings her back to asking -- oh no -- Allison for some help. Plus, Saul just defected in a dramatic sweep of glory, so it's safe to say no one knows what the hell is going on in the CIA right now.
WHAT PEOPLE ARE SAYING: So thank goodness for Quinn. Like many, The New York Times approached Sunday's episode of Homeland with some dread due to frightening current events, but ultimately found that this episode at least "afforded us the bitter pleasure of watching Peter Quinn defeat jihadists' plans to wreak terror among Berlin civilians by redirecting them to Syria, where they'll 'die like dogs in the desert,' as the barely recovered, soon-to-be-embedded agent puts it to a delighted Dar Adal." Do your thing, Q.

The Walking Dead
AMC
WHAT HAPPENED: At the end of Sunday night's hour of Walking Dead fans were left wondering one thing: Who was on that walkie-talkie? A few things come before that scratchy voice, sure: Daryl, Sasha, and Abraham are forced to split up on their way back to Alexandria. In that time, Daryl manages to get kidnapped, get un-kidnapped, have a crisis of conscience, and then get his bike and weapon stolen as a result. And Sasha and Abraham "get to know" each other a little better (not a metaphor... not yet, at least). But it all comes down to that scratchy voice Daryl hears on the radio in the last moments of the episode -- "Help" -- because everyone, including EW recapper Jonathon Dornbush has exactly one hope for who it might be: Glenn. Please let it be Glenn!
WHAT PEOPLE ARE SAYING: Unfortunately, Norman Reedus is here to throw a monkey wrench in that idea. When asked about the voice on the radio, he told EW, "I will say that voice is not Glenn." Now, this wouldn't be the first time a TV star has misled us with spoilers, but we'll stay cautiously pessimistic for now. He did at least have some positive news, promising that Sunday's episode "starts an avalanche that just gets bigger and bigger and bigger."

Quantico
ABC
WHAT HAPPENED: EW recapper Dalene Rovestine wonders if there's "a technical, Bureau-approved term for 'information overload'" because Sunday night's episode of Quantico was giving us All The Answers, chief among them, Caleb -- who used to be in a cult, by the way -- finds the first evidence that could prove Alex's innocence, but keeps it to himself for now; we learn that Alex's dad and Liam were both a part of a terrorism cover-up in Omaha in the '90s; and all those calls Shelby has been making to the Middle East are to her half-sister in Saudi Arabia. But, of course, the biggest reveal, is that, upon realizing there's likely going to be another bomb, Alex TURNS HERSELF IN. (Also, Miranda's son maybe stabbed her. Only on Quantico, y'all!)
WHAT PEOPLE ARE SAYING: So, about Caleb... more and more, he seems to be at the center of both what's happening with the NATs at Quantico, and what's happening with the FBI's Grand Central investigation in the flash-forwards. And to top it all off, he ends Sunday's episode by showing up at some sort of center for an "analysis." When asked by TV Line if that was a Scientology center, executive producer Joshua Safran said, "I won't say definitively that it's Scientology, but we definitely want to look at all aspects of sort of all institutions, I would say, that make up America -- whether that's religious institutions, whether that's financial institutions, whether that's governmental institutions." Stay tuned.
